This kitchen glass splashback features a stunning dark brown marble design with subtle white veining, creating an earthy and welcoming look that adds a homey touch to any kitchen.

While using stone in wet areas is by no means a new application, the use of stone can be constrained by cost and porosity. In wet areas stone such as marble can be susceptible to staining and discolouration over time, due to use of cleaning products and build up of personal products such as lotions and creams. This can be avoilded by laminating the stone to glass, and using the glass as the outer layer, however this process adds additional time, weight and cost.

Additionally, the use of printed glass eliminates grout in wet areas, replying only on minimal silicone joins between panel. This seamless finish contributes to high aesthetic outcome, however is also highly practical cleaning and maintenance associated with mouldly and discoloured grout is eliminated.

Technical Details
- Ink & Printing Technology – utilizing high quality, fade resistant UV printing technology that produces vibrant, true to life colours. The ink is eco-friendly and won’t emit harmful chemicals.
- The Glass – our glass is ultra clear, toughened, with excellent pure crystal clarity. The edges and corners have been polished and rounded.
- Toughened Glass – toughened or tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal treatment to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Toughened glass is about ten times stronger than ordinary glass. Unlike normal glass, which can shatter into jagged shards when broken, toughened glass fractures into small, relatively harmless pieces.
- Ultra Clear Glass – we only print onto ultra clear glass with pure crystal clarity. This allowing the vibrant, true colours of the image to pass through the glass presenting you with a visually accurate representation of the image.
- Glass Thickness: 6mm (0.6cm) the perfect thickness to allow the image to pass through clearly without compromising overall strength and stability.
- Polished Edges – the edges of the glass have been completely polished and rounded by state of the art glass processing machinery for your safety.
- Pre-drilled Holes: each panel has 4 pre-drilled, 7mm holes located in each corner for the purpose of securing the splashback to your wall along with the fittings provided.
- Easy to hang – everything you need to securely hang your Glass Splashback is provided. You will find a pack inside the box containing all of the required components along with an installation manual.
- How it’s made – the image is printed directly onto the surface of the glass using a state of the art glass printer. We then apply two protective scratch resistant layers over the image. You view the image through the glass.
