Mable is translucent natural stone and the best way to showcase them is to let light shine through. To craft gorgeous translucent marble stone panel, it will require a thin layer of marble (3mm-6mm thick), epoxy resin and glass substrate. Placing translucent marble on glass gives what would otherwise be an extremely fragile sheet of marble strength and stability. Because the glass is also translucent, it does not significantly hinder the marble's light-transmitting properties.
In the past, only a few natural stone like Onyx could adequately transmit light through the means of natural or artificial lighting to create a striking visual effect. And now when marble is milled to only a few millmeters and laminated to a rigid clear tempered glass backing, it will become magnificently translucent stone.
